Elon Musk has been garnering a lot of attention around politics in recent weeks since becoming apparently red-pilled.
This week he indicated that he is leaning towards suporting Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in 2024.
Of course, it’s very early and DeSantis hasn’t even indicated his intentions to run. Also, if Trump runs, he is likely to get the nomination.
Still, it’s fun to see Musk musing about supporting a Republican.
Politico reports:
Elon Musk ‘leaning’ towards supporting DeSantis for president
Ron DeSantis appears to be winning the Elon Musk primary.
Tucked in a Twitter thread where Musk, the world’s richest man worth an estimated $205 billion, discussed midterm politics and the fact he voted Republican for the first time during Tuesday night’s primaries, he said DeSantis at the moment is who he would support for president in 2024.
Musk was asked on Wednesday morning by a Twitter user called “Tesla Owner Silicon Valley” if he would vote Republican in the presidential race, to which Musk replied “tbd.”
