Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican from Kentucky, totally went full shredder on President Joe Biden after he attacked the Supreme Court, going on to accuse the president of acting below the “dignity” of the office he currently occupies and for “blame shifting” when it comes to the issue of the poor economy and the crazy situation still unfolding along the southern border.

The president stated last week that the high court was on what he called an “extreme and dangerous path” before adding on Thursday that he believes the filibuster should be abolished so that Congress can take abortion and codify it into law in the wake of the overturned Roe v. Wade.

“Attacking a core American institution like the Supreme Court from the world stage is below the dignity of the President,” McConnell stated on his Twitter account. “President Biden’s attacks on the Court are unmerited and dangerous.”

“The leading Republican went on to criticize Biden for claiming the court is somehow destabilizing democracy by kicking abortion restrictions back to the states,” the Daily Wire reported.

“He’s upset that the Court said the people, through their elected representatives, will have a say on abortion policy,” McConnell remarked in a press release put out on Thursday. “That does not destabilize democracy — it affirms it. By contrast, it is behavior like the President’s that undermines equal justice and the rule of law.”

The Kentucky senator then fired off a comment discussing the extremely poor job the president has done with the economy, accusing him of “blame shifting” as a means of keeping the American people distracted from noticing who is really responsible for the mess that’s negatively impacting folks all over the country.

The President launched this inappropriate attack when he was asked about whether or not we are on the right track as a country,” the statement went on to say. “The President needs to take a look in the mirror.”

“The Supreme Court isn’t responsible for inflation, high gas prices, crime in the streets or chaos at the border. He is,” the Republican senator said. “No amount of blame shifting on the global stage will change that.”

Biden is not the only Democrat who has thrown a temper tantrum about the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe.

“After the overturning of Roe v. Wade, many called for impeachments, court packing, and ‘disciplining’ justices,” Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley stated over at Fox News. “What is chilling, however, is that these calls have not come from extremist groups but political and media figures who are challenging the very ‘legitimacy’ of the Supreme Court.”
